Insurance Claims Reports

ChoicePoint produces and sells a variety of reports on consumers that are used in several important decision processes, including background screening, insurance underwriting, and tenant and employment screening.
For insurance claims review and insurance underwriting decision purposes, ChoicePoint produces the Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange report, commonly known as a CLUE Report.
There are two types of CLUE reports produced by ChoicePoint - be certain to request copies of both reports:

C.L.U.E. Auto Report - This report provides a consumer's five year history of automobile losses. The report includes the date of loss, type of loss, amount of loss paid, inquiry history, and general related property insurance information such as policy number, claim number, and the name of the insurance company.

C.L.U.E. Personal Property Report - This report provides a consumer's five-year history of claims / losses associated with an individual and his or her personal property. The report includes the date of loss, type of loss, amount of loss paid, inquiry history, and general related property insurance information such as policy number, claim number, and the name of the insurance company.

ISO
ISO is a supplier of insurance claims information used for insurance underwriting decisions. The Automobile-Property Loss Underwriting Service, or A-PLUS report, is a report used by insurance underwriters to review a consumer's property and liability claims history, with information provided by many insurance companies.
A-PLUS reports provide a five year history on all types of claims including loss or claims related to fire, flood, earthquake, burglary, credit card theft, worker's compensation, and medical payments. Inaccurate information in the A-PLUS report can affect a consumer's ability to obtain insurance, or affect the level of coverage premiums.
