General Terms of Use

1. The information included within this site is for your own personal knowledge and reference only. Plagiarism and theft of content is a crime. You must receive specific, prior written permission to re-use or excerpt any content or image from this site. You may not copy, reprint, republish, repost, or redistribute any information, images, etc., presented on this site, to any other site or any form of media of any kind or for any purpose. Doing so is violation of our (or our partners' and/or contributing authors') copyrights and national / international intellectual property laws. We will terminate membership of those found in violation, without refund or recourse, and may pursue civil and/or criminal action against violators.
   
   
2. Absolutely no sharing of member logon passwords and/or user names is permitted. In addition to being a security and fraud risk for yourself, our system will automatically detect this and we will suspend any account where more than one person attempts to sign on using the same username and password.
   
   
3. All members must treat other members with courtesy and respect at all times when posting messages to the discussion groups. Rude or disparaging remarks will be deleted and the Member will be barred from the discussion groups.
    
    

Forum and Discussion Group Rules

1. The forums and discussion groups are of a professional nature - users are required to act accordingly. Do not use vulgarity, obscenity, profanity, ethnic slurs, hate speech, or sexually explicit language, or harass, abuse, or threaten other subscribers in the discussion forums. Do not libel or defame others. Members who post messages with profanity or obcenity will have their membership terminated.
   
   
2. Unless specifically allowed in a designated forum, the discussion forums may not be used for product or service sales pitches. Commercial messages or posts that include sales pitches or specific product or service references will be edited or deleted.
   
   
3. No bulk e-mail, junk mail or spam, chain letters, or repeat postings of the same message is permitted anywhere on the forums.
   
   
4. Use your own name when posting to the discussion forums. Do not impersonate anyone else.
   
   
5. Do not "shout" (using all capital letters) in the discussion forums.
   
   
6. When you post content in the discussion forums, you permit this site to display and distribute the content, and to use it for advertising and promotion. You grant to this site the complete, perpetual, but non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, sub-license, etc. the content in whole or in part, throughout the world and universe, on a royalty-free basis.
   
   
7. We monitor and will edit / remove objectionable messages, at our sole discretion, posted on the discussion forums. The person posting a message is solely responsible for it, not FRAUDFacts, Inc. Violators may be permanently banned from using the forums, and may have their FRAUDFacts membership terminated without refund or recourse.

However, please recognize that our primary "product" is expert knowledge and information, which due to its nature, cannot be returned once it has been provided. For this reason, FRAUDFacts subscription fees are non-refundable. Depending upon the type of subscription you have, your subscription fees may be deductible as a business expense. Check with your tax consultant or accountant for advice on this issue.
